James Marsden wants to do Broadway!

Posted in Broadway Boyfriends, Men on September 11, 2011 by Daddycatcher

Get on it, Broadway producers!

Marsden told Vulture:

I’m looking for a great musical on Broadway to do. I’ve never done Broadway, and I’d love to, so I’m in the hunt for that. There are opportunities here and there for charity events and things like that to sing, but I’d love to take more advantage of it. I know I’m going to wake up one day and all that ability is going to be gone.

He was an excellent Corny Collins in Hairspray and hilarious in Enchanted. He needs a great big musical where he charms the pants off of audiences!

How to Succeed with Darren and Nick

When all is said and done, Daddycatcher will have seen the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying four freakin’ times.  Daddycatcher has seen it twice already with current leading man Daniel Radcliffe.

A month ago, the production announced that Glee cutie Darren Criss would succeed Radcliffe in the role for 3 weeks in July. Since Daddycatcher has a schoolboy crush on Criss this was a no-brainer.

Now comes word that after Criss’ limited engagement, Nick Jonas (of the Jonas Brothers) will step into the role!  Daddycatcher and the Big Man are not ashamed to say that of the three Jonas Brothers Nick is by far the cutest! And another pair of tickets purchased!

A big congratulations to Cheyenne Jackson who married his longtime parter, Monte Lapka, yesterday.

Cheyenne posted on Twitter:

It’s official, after 11 years together, Zora’s no longer a bastard. Married the best man I’ve ever known.

Aren’t they just a good-looking couple!?!

Goodness Gracious…

Daddycatcher caught Million Dollar Quartet on Broadway this evening. While he thought the show itself was kind of bland, Tony Award winner Levi Kreis was on fire!  He portrays rock ‘n’ roll legend, Jerry Lee Lewis of “Great Balls of Fire” fame.

Daddycatcher wouldn’t mind a private piano lesson with the smoking Mr. Kreis…
