Daddycatcher’s CATCH OF THE DAY: Tom Hardy

Posted in Catch of the Day on July 31, 2010 by Daddycatcher

Daddycatcher had no idea who Tom Hardy was before this:

“I’ve played with everything and everyone. I love the form and the physicality, but now that I’m in my thirties, it doesn’t do it for me. I’m done experimenting but there’s plenty of stuff in a relationship with another man, especially gay men, that I need in my life. A lot of gay men get my thing for shoes. I have definite feminine qualities and a lot of gay men are incredibly masculine.'”

Daddycatcher will pay attention to him now!  Especially since he is starring in Inception, which blew Daddycatcher’s mind when he saw it today!

What’s the matter with that kid!?! Daddycatcher would love to dance to Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” in between Tim DeKay and Matt Bomer, stars of USA’s White Collar.

Gym Inspiration

Daddycatcher has been going hardcore on the treadmill and elliptical in the effort to keep the weight off.

He is starting the see some results.  So when Daddycatcher is going for that 4th and 5th mile, his mind goes to this recent picture of Eric Dane (Daddycatcher’s #8) probably heading back from the gym himself.

Watch Out, Meryl!

The 2nd greatest actress of her generation (and Daddycatcher’s birthday buddy), Laura Linney, was featured in The New York Times leading up to the premiere of her new Showtime show, The Big C.

Daddycatcher loves everything she has done…especially in Love, Actually!

Daddycatcher did not have time to see Dallas Theater Center’s production of It’s a Bird…It’s a Plane…It’s Superman starring Daddycatcher’s Broadway boyfriend, Matt Cavenaugh, when he was in Texas earlier this month.

Rumors are swirling that the production could transfer to Broadway this season!

Cheers to Gaga and Geeks!

The crazy Westboro Baptist Church has been laughed out of two protests recently by none other than Lady Gaga and the comic book “geeks” at San Diego Comic-Con.  Props to Gaga and Daddycatcher’s fellow geeks!

On July 17th, the Church targeted Lady Gaga’s St. Louis concert.  Gaga caught wind of the protest and wrote this on her Facebook page:

I would like to make my little monster fans aware of a protest being held outside the Monsterball in St.Louis tonight. Although we have had protesters before, as well as fundamentalists at the show, this group of protesters are hate criminals and preach using lewd and violent language and imagery that I wish I protect you all from. Their message is of hatred and divisiveness, but inside at the Monsterball we preach love and unity.

My request to all little monsters and public authorites is to pay these hate criminals no mind. Do not interact with them, or try to fight, Do not respond to any of their provocation. Don’t waste your words, or feelings, no matter what you hear or see you are more fortunate and blessed than they are, and in your heart just pray for them. Although I respect and do not judge anyone for their personal views on any politics or religion, this group in particular to me, is violent and dangerous I wanted to make my fans aware of my views on how to approach, or rather not approach, these kinds of hate activists.

Be inspired to ignore their ignorant message, and feel gratitude in your heart that you are not burdened or addicted to hate, as they are. X

And then yesterday, the Church took to San Diego’s Comic-Con and was met with by a group of counter protesters dressed as superheroes and sci-fi characters.

Daddycatcher is pretty proud that people are battling hate with a really powerful weapon…love!!!

Thank you, Brad Pitt…
