Wedding Bells in Iowa

The Iowa Supreme Court unanimously  struck down a gay marriage ban, allowing same-sex couples the RIGHT to marry.

Below is a picture of Iowa couple, Sean Fritz and Timothy McQuillan, who were married in August of 2007 when an Iowa judge declared it was unconstitutional to ban gay marriage.  But after four hours, he delayed the ruling until the Supreme Court had a chance to rule on it.  However, Fritz and McQuillan were able to get a marriage license and have a marital ceremony before it became illegal once again.

Daddycatcher is sure they are rejoicing.  Good job Iowa!!!  One state at a time…
