LEGENDS! Finally Arrives in New York

Legends! is an extraordinary phenomenon that is finally arriving in New York.  The show premiered in 1986 in a year-long, pre-Broadway tour with Mary Martin and Carol Channing.

The show was famous for it’s backstage antics than for anything that appeared on the stage.  It inspired the playwright, James Kirkwood, to recount his experience in the book, Diary of a Mad Playwright.

Now, the show is finally coming to New York with an all-star cast: Charles Busch, Lypsinka, and Whoopi Goldberg.

The evening will benefit the charity, Friends in Deed – The Crisis Center for Life Threatening Illnesses.
